The FSC add new locations for Marks & Spencer training courses

Having a detailed understanding of the Marks & Spencer Code of Practice requirements is critical for any manufacturing site, whether they are based in the UK or overseas.

To help the Marks & Spencer supply base gain that understanding, the FSC have developed a number of training courses including the mandatory Food Safety and Hygiene 5 Day Applied course and the one day Allergen Management.

For those in senior management roles such as technologist and QA managers, it is essential that you attend both courses. Whether you are a new or an existing supplier, the course will always be relevant, as our trainers will cover the most up to date Codes of Practice.

It is worth noting that failure to have a representative from your site attend the 5 day food safety or the 1 day allergen management course within a three year period; will result in a non-conformance at your next FSC audit. So we urge you to please check your training records and make sure you have a valid training certificate for a current employee working at your site. If not, then please make sure you book a representative on the next course in readiness for your audit.

To provide greater access to both courses, the FSC is pleased to advise courses are being run over the coming months in new locations including Europe. Spaces will be limited whilst we trial the new locations, therefore we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
