Course Delivery Options

Flexible Solutions - choose how you train

FSC courses are available through a number of delivery options providing food companies and their employees with flexibility in terms of delivery and budget.

Our state of the art training facility in Cardiff where all of our scheduled courses take place, is an approved centre for the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH).

In addition we have a partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University whereby our courses can include a practical element utilising the ambient bakery and high care pilot facilities the university has to offer.

We currently have a number of RSPH courses scheduled to take place over the coming months. To find out more including dates click here

A cost effective solution if you are looking to train a number of people at the same time, our in-company training means we bring our trainers to you.

Whether you are looking for an accredited course or a tailored solution around your own policies and procedures; our specialist food safety trainers will work with you to develop a training programme that meets your company objectives and ensures delegates come away with practical knowledge they can apply to their role.

What makes FSC in-company training stand out from the crowd?

Where we are different from other training providers is the practical element that we offer as part of our course delivery.

The results of the 2014 Global Food Safety Training Survey has highlighted the need to ensure that food safety training is delivered in such a way that employees walk away with an applied understanding of their learning and can return to their role with improved performance.

It is for this reason the FSC offer a practical element to their in-company training, providing delegates with time in your factory, store or kitchen. During this time, delegates are given a project to undertake, where they must apply their class room training and demonstrate their understanding of your policies and procedures.  All the time they are utilising the experience and knowledge of a Food Safety Consultant/trainer, who is providing them with a fresh pair of eyes, pointing out the things that often get overlooked and challenging their risk perceptions.

Our eLearning courses provide a flexible and easily accessible learning solution, negating the need for delegates to travel and choose the most convenient time to train.

Ideal for induction training, our eLearning courses are available for food businesses who are looking to provide their food operatives and service staff an awareness of a specific subject such as allergens.

Accessed via our learning management system, HR and team managers have the ability to view a delegates course progress and assessment results.  Training records for your entire organisation can be accessed and utilised to demonstrate continued professional development during site audits.
