Foreign Body Prevention, Detection and Removal

Workshop overview

Foreign body contamination is a serious food safety issue that can impact heavily on consumer safety and be damaging to a retailer/manufacturer from both a financial and brand integrity perspective.

This one day workshop is designed to provide delegates with an understanding of the BRC requirements for foreign body control and how to apply those requirements within their own environment.  

The course undertakes both classroom training and time within a factory environment, where delegates are expected to apply their classroom learning and risk perceptions will be challenged by our food safety consultant.

The workshop aims to improve their understanding of the BRC requirements, reduce the risk of product contamination and improve audit performance.

Please note the workshop can be adapted to include your own or customer policies/Codes of Practice and procedures for foreign body contamination.

Who is it for?

The workshop is suitable for anyone working within a food manufacturing facility from factory floor to senior management. 

Food Technologists from within the retail sector may also find the course of benefit.
