Ensuring that food is free from metal contamination is a legal obligation for any food processing or food manufacturing organisation. Organisations are required to implement best practice in terms of design, operation and testing requirements of metal detection equipment.
Based on BRC food safety standards, this workshop provides delegates with the required knowledge of the regulations for metal detection and reviews current practices to ensure equipment is tested correctly and consistently.
The workshop undertakes both classroom training and time within a factory environment, where delegates are expected to apply their classroom learning and risk perceptions will be challenged by our food safety consultant.
Please note the workshop can be adapted to include your own or customer policies/Codes of Practice and procedures for metal detection.
